At the fifth edition of DENFAIR, we were thrilled to present NAU 2019 - the newest collection of furniture and lighting from our Australian design brand, NAU. We revealed new designs by Adam Goodrum, Adam Cornish, Kate Stokes, Tom Fereday and Zacahry Hanna. Here, we present our NAU x DENFAIR 2019 highlights.

NAU 2019//

A palette of earthy greens, deep burnt oranges and calming neutrals set the scene for the unveiling of NAU 2019. Pictured here is the Chameleon table by Adam Goodrum with the upholstered Stand chair by Adam Cornish, the Molloy chair with arms by Adam Goodrum and the upholstered SIA chair by Tom Fereday, beautifully lit with the Jolly double rod pendant by Kate Stokes.

All fabric on display at the NAU stand, on upholstered furniture and stand drapery, was provided exclusively by Mokum. All woven vinyl flooring was provided by Bolon and a leading edge television screen playing in the NAU lounge area was provided by Bang & Olufsen.

We fuelled our DENFAIR visitors with freshly brewed coffee, courtesy of Nespresso.

The NAU stand was complete with lovingly hand-made vases, bowls and espresso cups, provided by Mud Australia

Our DENFAIR visitors were invited to design their own interior in the NAU stand Augmented Reality Zone, with designs from the NAU 2019 collection, using the NAU AR app - our augmented reality app for iOS.

In a conceptual installation imagined by Adam Goodrum, the Chameleon by NAU stand explored the structural uniqueness of the Chameleon, a commercial table system designed by Adam Goodrum, launched last year at ORGATEC in Germany.

Made possible by a structurally refined Axis-Joint, the Chameleon table system allows for 15-degree leg articulations.

At the 2019 DENFAIR Awards, we were thrilled that the Chameleon took home the award for Best Commercial Product.

The Chameleon was also spotlighted in a DENFAIR sneak preview of 2019 Good Design Awards nominees, alongside another new design by Adam Goodrum - the Molloy chair with arms.

Last but not least, the Chameleon took center stage at #FUTUREWORKS, a new dedicated workspace precinct designed by Futurespace, alongside Kubrick stools by Jack Flanagan.

NAU’s final appearance at DENFAIR was at the Living Bar, a lush living cocktail bar that grew its own ingredients, conceived by Adam Cornish. The Living Bar played host to Cornish’ Strand chairs and bistro tables.
