The fourth edition of LOCAL MILAN will be unveiled at this year’s Milan Design Week, from 8-14th April, in the historic center of art, design and culture - the 5 Vie district. We’re so pleased to announce that our design brand NAU will once again be joining - we hope to see you there!

With a vision to advance awareness and understanding of Australian design amongst a global audience, the LOCAL MILAN exhibition will take place across a ten room and two-level Palazzo, formally occupied by Diesel and Moroso. The lower level will play host to the NAU cafe, where visitors to the fair can take a moment to reflect, refresh and even enjoy a quirky Australian snack.

In a truly unique and Australian curation, the exhibition will be layered with sculptural moments from Berlin based Australian floral stylist Ruby Barber, a bespoke sound scape by Australian DJ Mason Mulholland will echo through the rooms, and the Milan based, Australian creative director Bradley Seymour will be putting his unique spin on the visual identity of the show.

To get us in the Milano spirit, we're sharing a couple of of favourite pictures from last year's edition of LOCAL MILAN - enjoy!

Adam Goodrum collaborated with Arthur Seigneur last year to produce the Bloom cabinet, with over 4,000 custom dyed straw marquetry inlays.

Adam Cornish created a limited-edition version of his Rev Stool for LOCAL MILAN NO.3, in iridescent finishes.
Tom Fereday presented a limited-edition forged metal series of the SIA chair in solid aluminium and bronze to re-interpret the minimal slender form.

NAU are hosting an Aperitivo on Wednesday 10 April from 6-9pm - we hope you can join us!

Stay tuned as we make more announcements and be sure to follow @cultdesignau and @nau_design for updates. See you in Milan!
