The GUBI 2D Counter Stool is a series of light stools made from laminated veneer with a wide range of applications within private and public spaces. Being an extension to the classic GUBI 3D Chair, it is characterised by its more sleek and minimalistic look that with its two-dimensional veneer shell can be mixed and matched with a variety of metallic and wooden bases.

Founded in 1987, Komplot Design, a partnership of the Danish architect Poul Christiansen (born 1947) and the Russian industrial and graphic designer Boris Berlin (born 1953), has designed furniture and created multidisciplinary design solutions for both Danish and international companies, including Le Klint and Lightyears.
