Let the colours in
And see the elegant change
Poul M. Volther’s sense of details and the great craft is maintained in the Corona Spectrum chair. I 1984 the famous Corona chair underwent an elegant transformation and was presented in a number of inspirational colour combinations, under the name Corona Spectrum.
Six frame colours let you create a unique Corona
With Corona Sepctrum it is possible to choose between six colours for the frame of the chair: black, white, water-blue, patina-green, pearl orange and pearl-grey.
Play with contrast or do tone in tone
With these six colours and a wide selection of upholstery, it is possible to create your own personal expression. Either let the frame and seat match each other, or let it contrast.
A breath of fresh air
Corona Spectrum is a colorful, contemporary and young version of the classic Corona chair.
Poul M. Volther designed the Corona chair for Erik Jorgensen in 1961. The frame of the original model was produced in solid oak in very small numbers. The following year the chair was given the look it has today, with a frame in spring steel and concentric shapes that appear to be freely suspended.
