The Flexi Container system by Studio Cappellini is built around a base element and a case, available in two versions: a free-standing floor version (with a depth of 43 or 58 cm) or wall mounting (28 or 43 cm in depth).
A series of freely combinable units (shelves, doors, bases, tops, handles and accessories, as well as the aforementioned cases) allows for personalized configurations of the system.
For the Flexi Container system, it is possible to select different colours and finishes for the various components, to create custom combinations of doors, drawers and open compartments. There is a vast array of finishes: desert melamine (for the cabinet interior); glossy or matte lacquers (in all of the colours in the collection); oak (natural, wengé-stained or walnut-stained); open pore matte lacquered oak; teak; black Canaletto oak; root wood.
The base can be finished with polished chrome or matte lacquered, and the handles come in either these two finishes or glossy lacquered.
Starting from its beginning, this team, which cares about research and product design just inside the factory, proposes, under the supervision of Architect Giulio Cappellini, items which are “long sellers”, that is to say able to resist to fashion and time to become main component in the brand philosophy. Exercising its twenty-five-years-long experience in product design field, Studio Cappellini completes the international landscape that the brand proposes to customers.
