Made of white ceramic with a matte finish on the exterior and a glossy polished interior, Trace vases feature an irregular three-dimensional texture with a geometric theme: the pattern on these vases is perpetually pressed into the ceramic, a feat of eye-catching and allure which exalts the expressive force of the material.

Francesco Forcellini was born in Milan and raised in Florence, he graduated from Milan Polytechnic in Design Innovation. In 2017 Francesco Forcellini founded his own studio in Milan after working in London and in the Netherlands for internationally recognised design studios and agencies.
Forcellini designs by analysing the essence of objects, their archetype, meaning and construction process, seeking innovation through new formal expressions. The key element of its design is elevating the material consistency, its physicality. This is pursued by reducing the formal complexity of the objects and enhancing their surfaces. Design for product innovation, using the physicality of the material to convey meaning.
