Mater Trumpet Coat Stand is a contemporary and sculptural piece of design made by the Danish architect duo Space Copenhagen. The nine discs in three different sizes are fitted to the stand and positioned at angles suitable for hanging hats, scarves and umbrellas. Trumpet is crafted by the ancient technique of sand casting in a small workshop in Northern India. The raw material is derived from 70 % aluminium waste.
Trumpet is flat-packed for ease of labour and transportation.
