Wendelbo welcomes the first long table to the collection when introducing the Vector Table by French Tristan Lohner. Within graphic arts, vector means denoting a type of graphical representation using lines to construct the outlines of objects. Deriving from Latin, the term literally means ‘to carry’ – and the name thus refers to the typology of a table in its simplest form and the intersecting lines of the table frame that carries the tabletop.
Playing with perspective, when viewed from the end, the frame in black powder-coated aluminium appears dense, adding weight to the design, whilst seen from the side, the slender silhouette seems light and airy. Offered in black and dark brown stained oak, the chamfered edges of the tabletop add to the sense of refinement.

The work of French designer, Tristan Lohner, displays a paired-back and at times playful aesthetic showcased in the Montholon design that lends its name from the famous Square Montholon, located in the 9th Arr. in Paris, a recreational space from which Lohner carries fond childhood memories.
