Philippe Malouin was inspired by a particular detail of the ceramic craft process: the unglazed base of the vases, due to contact with the kiln walls during vitrification. This characteristic element, usually considered a side effect of production, has been elevated to a distinctive detail in the Ta.Ba.Ce collection. This stylistic choice creates a play of textures and contrasts, emphasising the contour lines of the tables and giving them a unique and recognisable identity.
