The pendant has 12 LEDs embedded in the inner vertices of the geometric frame that are connected to light guides along the inner edges, creating an even illumination towards the reflector in the centre of the lamp. This layered white reflector emits the light spherically back into the room, resulting in a glare-free uniform light.

Artist Olafur Eliasson (Iceland/Denmark), born in 1967, works in a wide range of media, including installation, painting, sculpture, photography, and film.
