This bench is named after Winston Churchill, the Winston bench is a piece of wonderful furniture that works as extra seating in the halls, at the end of the double bed, at the dining table, in an office area or simply an elegant place to take a sit. With its simple and elegant construction in wood and wicker, Winston is a new take on a classic bench.
The frame is crafted in FSC certified oak and the detailing of the leg fixture underlines the exquisite craftsmanship. The canework is applied to the wooden oak frame in a proud 3rd generation Danish wicker workshop, thereby translating an old craft tradition into the new modern design age.

Eva Harlou is a Danish architect and designer who has also worked as a presenter on Danish TV shows focusing on architecture. After graduating from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 2003, Harlou started her successful career at the Copenhagen-based 3XN Architects, and in 2006 she opened her own studio. Harlou sees architecture and design as both handcraft and art, which gives an organic and imaginative undertone for her work. Still, her designs often settle in clear and functional forms. Thanks to their recognizable style, Harlou’s architectural projects have drawn a lot of attention, and since 2014 she has also contributed to the Scandinavian design world with her furniture and product designs.
