JOE is a series of soft, flexible seating furniture based on strong shapes, geometric curves, and clear lines. The centrepiece of the series is a circular pouf with slim legs. All seating elements are embraced by a light back wall that serves as a protective shell and creates comfort and privacy for relaxation or private conversations in hotel lobbies, lounge areas, libraries, or modern offices spaces. The soft backrest cushion provides maximum comfort. The family of seating poufs, sofas and armchairs are completed by a matching coffee table with the same floating appearance.

Böttcher & Kayser is a Berlin-based studio founded in 2007, working in the fields of consumer product, furniture, lighting and interior design. The design studio is run by Moritz Böttcher and Nikolaus Kayser, who design for many well-known brands. Moritz Böttcher (right) and Nikolaus Kayser have won numerous design awards, including the Interior Innovation Award, and several iF and Red Dot Design Awards, including the prestigious Red Dot ‘Best of the Best’. Their projects have been featured in books and magazines around the world.
