The pillows in the Accessories collection are designed by Danish design company aiayu. With designers Maria Heilmann and Marie Worsaae, aiayu has created clothes and home accessories for 10 years. The philosophy behind the design is simplicity, quality and the origin of the materials used. Wool and the production of knitwear is from Bolivia, where only the absolute best qualities are transformed to actual products. In collaboration with Fritz Hansen this has resulted in three amazing pillows with a knitted front of Bolivian wool and linen on the back. Inside is duck feathers and down. In 2016, Fritz Hansen Accessories was born. Ever since, the most stunning vases, amazing pillows and much more have added another dash of beauty to beautiful homes. Accessories enhances the Fritz Hansen collection and enrichens it with accessories for the design savvy and quality oriented home.

The design might be Danish, but the materials used by the sustainable clothing brand, aiayu, come from all over the world – amongst other places Bolivia.
aiayu was established in 2005 and launched their first collection of knitwear with the mission of producing exclusive designs, created with respect for the environment, raw materials and healthy working conditions.
aiayu means ‘soul’ in the language of Bolivia’s indigenous Aymare people and underlines the passion put into every product from the brand.
The philosophy behind the brand is aesthetics, authenticity and sustainability, which permeates through everything they do. aiayu is a company founded on ethical and responsible production in Bolivia, where the raw materials also are sourced. All the brand’s knitwear is made from the unique lama wool, Cashlama, from the Bolivian highlands.
