Table LED lamp in extruded aluminum with T-shaped support in polymer filled with glass fibers. Composed of a protruding matt black painted arm where the light source is located and a vertical brass counterweight. The lamp, placed freely on the edge of a surface, oscillates and moves but always returns to the horizontal position. The LED module incorporated in the arm rotates around its own axis, making the lamp versatile providing diffused direct and indirect lighting. Switching on and dimming through a proximity sensor.r.
Bernhard Osann was born in 1979 in Augsburg, Germany. From 2008 to 2016 he studied at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg, Department of Industrial Design, graduating with that degree his occupation has been as a freelance industrial designer since 2016.
Before studying industrial design in Hamburg, he practiced as a carpenter at the School for Wood and Design in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, completing his studies as a journeyman in 2000. After several years working as a freelance carpenter, Osann completed his studies in sculpture at the Wilhelm Wagenfeld School in Bremen in 2005.
Osann's most important works to date have been in the field of interior design, including his WATN BLECH wall shelf for Moormann, from 2013, and various lamps produced for Nemo Lighting, such as BIRD (2018), FRAME (2019) and UNTITLED (2010/2019).
