Claritas Floor Lamp
Description
Claritas is the first lamp designed by Vico Magistretti, produced with Mario Tedeschi in 1946. The lamp is made of bent metal tubes, painted in black. Parts of the structure are in chromed metal. Aluminium diffuser painted in black, white in the inner part.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Vico Magistretti
Vico Magistretti was born and educated in Milan. His award-winning designs are exhibited at design museums worldwide; he has worked together with many prestiguous companies throughout the world. Magistretti is an honorary visiting professor at the Royal College of Art in London.
Approx. 80% of Magistretti's products designed since the early sixties are still in production. His immense success is attributable to the simplicity and modesty in his easy, elegant form idiom based on established and natural shapes - yet with the respect for cultural and historic values and traditions.
This is obvious in his designs for Fritz Hansen, Vico and VicoDuo.rking for Zanotta, Porro, Magis he uses fibreglass, gels, aluminium foam, neoprene and three-dimensional textiles.
