A short statured vase made from solid stone in two parts, the Semper vase is designed to highlight fallen leaves and petals through capturing them on its platter. Doing so, it celebrates both the life and death of its inhabitants.

Melbourne based designer Dale Hardiman is the co-founder of furniture and object brand Dowel Jones and collaborative project Friends & Associates. Hardiman has also previously worked as 1-OK CLUB and LAB DE STU.
Dale’s practice simultaneously focuses on items of mass-production for Dowel Jones, and singular works under his own name that focus on more conceptual ideas. Hardiman’s theoretical enquiry into design explores the localisation of the production of objects and is manifested in his chosen materials and overall practice.
Hardiman works across various fields including furniture, lighting and accessory design, event and exhibition design, curation, art direction and branding, along with being regularly invited as a speaker.
