Countdown to DENFAIR 2022
The seventh edition of DENFAIR is coming up from 10-12 February 2022 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. We can’t wait to reveal new designs by Adam Goodrum for nau at the Cult Lounge, and exhibit the latest projects from our sustainability program Cultivated at stand #520. Here we share a run down of everything to add to your diary ahead of the first in-person industry event of the year!
Discover Mega Tulip at the Cult Lounge.
Designed for meeting, reflection and conversation, our curated lounge area at DENFAIR 2022 will be the launch pad for Mega Tulip - a new modular sofa system designed by Adam Goodrum. Based on a familiar favourite in the nau collection, Mega Tulip introduces new possibilities for commercial lounging, whilst offering a place of respite for the busy DENFAIR-goers itinerary. All fabric and leather upholstery on Mega Tulip has been generously provided by Kvadrat Maharam.
Cultivated - Stand #520.
Almost a year after the launch of our sustainability program, Cultivated returns to the spotlight with a dedicated installation at stand #520 at DENFAIR 2022. Through an exhibition of new projects and collaborations, Cultivated invites you to consider new possibilities for end-of-life furniture, whilst unveiling thought-provoking innovations in its waste stream strategies.
Design Talk & Drinks.
Join nau designers Adam Goodrum and Kate Stokes at the Main Stage from 2:00 - 2:45pm on Friday February 11 for Made Down Here – a panel discussion moderated by Stephen Todd that looks at how Australian design and manufacture has progressed and what the current success stories and challenges are. Following the talk, join us at the Cult Lounge from 3:00 - 4:00pm to meet Adam and Kate and continue the conversation over some casual refreshments.
Australian furniture and lighting show DENFAIR will take place in Melbourne from 10-12 February 2022. This year, the show will run alongside Interiors Australia, a new show presented by National Media, which acquired DENFAIR in 2021. Alongside the exhibition, the event features a series of talks, interviews and masterclasses with international designers. The fair is open to trade visitors only on the first two days with the public admitted on the third day.
