COVID-19 Live Updates and FAQs

Providing a little more clarity during times of uncertainty with live updates on Cult showrooms, deliveries, operations and safety measures. 

Current Melbourne showroom status:

Our showroom is now temporarily closed, however our team remains available to you via phone, email or Zoom to assist with your enquiry. Delivery and collection of orders will continue during this time, with additional safety measures in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of you and our team alike. More information on this is outlined below.

Delivery and collection in Victoria:

If you are currently awaiting the arrival of your order, please rest assured that lead-times have not been effected*. Our team will be in touch as soon as your order lands to coordinate collection or delivery.

Showroom collections - we will contact you when your order is ready to book in a contactless collection time. Collections are available on Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and must be booked in advance.

Warehouse collections - need to be booked 48 hours prior, with a call 30 min before arriving. Our warehouse team will work with you to coordinate a contactless collection time.

Storage fees waived
- if you are unable to collect your delivery or your project has been effected by the level 4 lockdown, storage fees will be waived during this period.

Delivery – to ensure contactless deliveries, our driver will call upon arrival and will drop your product at the door, or on the ground floor if you live in an apartment building. If it’s safe to do so, we can unpack or assemble items prior to delivery. Our team will contact you to book your delivery, and can answer any questions you may have.

Commercial deliveries - please contact our team who will assist in arranging a safe and suitable solution for your project. 

*excludes Strand and Rev collections from the nau range, both of which are made in Melbourne. We will be in touch if your order is affected.
  




Current Sydney and Brisbane showroom status:
 

Our Sydney and Brisbane showrooms continue to be open at normal trading hours. We remain dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of our team and customers alike, and we have put additional measures in place at each of our locations, details of which are outlined below:

•   Showroom visitors are required to sign in with their details using the QR codes at the entrance. Contact information is emailed directly to the store for track & trace, and deleted 3 weeks after visiting.

•   We will be conducting visitor temperature checks upon entry.  

•   Hand sanitiser is available at our front desk and throughout our showrooms, and we ask that our visitors sanitise upon entering.

•   We ask that all showroom visitors adhere to social distancing guidelines of 1.5m when in store, and you’ll find floor markers in place at our showrooms to assist with this.

•   We encourage our in-store customers to use electronic payment, including contactless or tap-and-go payments, instead of cash.

•   We have increased our full showroom cleans, with additional regular cleaning of high traffic areas including door handles, handrails and EFTPOS machines.  

What are virtual consultations and how do I book one?

We understand that during this time, you may be unable to visit our showrooms and we want to ensure that even without a visit, you can still access the necessary product information needed to make an informed decision on the next order for your home or project. Our experienced team of consultants are available via Zoom or FaceTime for tailored one-on-one virtual consultations, and are equipped with product imagery, presentations, data sheets and advice.

How can I ensure I receive updates from Cult, including your showroom opening status?

We want to ensure you stay up to date with Cult news and updates during this time of uncertainty. Be sure to check in on this page for updates, subscribe to our mailing list or follow us on social media.

Are there any effects to delivery of current orders?

Our delivery partners are fully operational, and will work with you to ensure your safety and the safety of our installers throughout the process. If your order is due to arrive, our logistics team will be in touch to schedule this with you. Likewise, if your order has been delayed for any reason, including the international effects from COVID-19, we will contact you. Are there any effects to product lead-times for future orders?

Standard lead-times have resumed and there are no delays to production and manufacturing, excluding Strand and Rev from the nau collection, both of which are manufactured in Melbourne. We will be in touch if you order id effected. Find standard lead times for products on individual product pages.
