Last week in conjunction with Melbourne Design Week, over 200 members of the design industry gathered at Cult Design Melbourne to launch The Chairity Project exhibition and online auction. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate! There's still plenty of time to bid on your favourite design - the auction ends on Sunday 3 April at 7pm AEST. Here we share a gallery from the launch event.

The 2022 edition of Cult's esteemed fundraising event, The Chairity Project, sees 18 leading Australian creatives from a cross-section of design disciplines reimagine the Result chair for charity. First designed in the 1950's by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for Ahrend, and now produced by HAY, the Result chair is an enduring design classic.

Set within a lofty gallery space with crisp white flooring, aged brick walls and European windows, the final designs were exhibited in Melbourne over a four-day period during Melbourne Design Week. Next, the exhibition travels to Sydney and is on show at the HAY shop from 28 March - 3 April, 2022.
