HAY’s highly anticipated 2021 collection brings together minimalist Danish design and bold colours in a series that is that is both functional and joyful. Here, we present new furniture and lighting from renowned Danish design brand, HAY.

Quilton by Doshi Levien.

Described by the designers as a ‘quilted landscape sofa system’, Quilton serves as a central platform for living, working, socializing and relaxing. Offering a wide assortment of different modules, Doshi Levien’s multi-functional sofa provides the flexibility of a modular system with generous dimensions and sculpted forms.

Kofi by Martin Solem.

Based on the desire to make a clean and functional table with an eco-friendly profile, Kofi is a glass-topped table series developed using clever and efficient production methods with a flat-pack design. Featuring a solid oak or walnut frame in FSC-certified wood with a water-based lacquer, the top is made of plain or reeded glass, which has a distinctively ribbed structure.

Arbour Club by Engesvik and Rybakken.

Developed to offer a compact and durable sofa with a sustainable profile, the Arbour Club Sofa and armchair are the latest members of the Arbour family and feature the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, with FSC-certified wood and water-based lacquered frame. With its logical construction and uncluttered design language, the Arbour Club collection fuses its distinctly Scandinavian aesthetics with high comfort and great durability.

New Order High Table by Stefan Diez.

Featuring a simple construction in long-lasting materials, Stefan Diez’ New Order High Table is a free-standing table that is designed for use as a high meeting table or workstation in an office environment, as well as a kitchen counter or bar area in a private setting. The light, durable aluminium frame is available in two heights in several different colours, featuring a solid steel stretcher bar that optimises stability and also functions as a footrest. Adaptable to a wide range of applications, the table can be supplemented with cable management solutions to improve functionality and organisation.

About A Chair 155 by Hee Welling.

Featuring a five-legged castor base, the AAC 155 combines the high functionality of a task chair with optimal comfort and modern aesthetics. Retaining the same high backrest and generous seat that characterises the About A series, the base is designed with a tilting mechanism and a gas lift that can adjust the seat height.

Knit by Jin Kuramoto.

Knit is a simple and iconic coat rack with a distinctive sculptural design. Comprising three powder lacquered steel pipes that are interconnected in a three-dimensional way, the pipes are securely ‘knitted’ together to support each other and create the strength of the body.

Two-Colour by Muller van Severen.

Coming soon in 2022. Described by Belgian designers Muller van Severen as a marriage between two materials used at their best, the Two-Colour table series is inspired by the contrasts and similarities in the materials used. Featuring steel tube legs for optimal strength and stability, the table surface is crafted in organic coloured Valchromat – a unique kind of robust MDF material that is FSC-certified and features a water-based lacquer. Two-Colour is available in different shapes, sizes and colour combinations.

Arcs by Muller Van Severen.

The Arcs series of arched designs includes pendant, wall and table lighting variants as well as candle holders and vases. Formed from a continuous chain of curved arches that create an elegant, scalloped silhouette, the lamp provides a soft, ambient up and down light that plays with shapes and shadows. Arcs is crafted in solid steel and is available in several different colours or with a mirror surface.

Matin Flush/Wall by Inge Sempe.

The Matin Flush and Wall Mount are the latest additions to the Matin collection by Inge Sempe and offer a contemporary yet poetic design, with a construction that combines visual delicacy with physical robustness. The lamp comprises a painted steel bracket for mounting onto the wall or ceiling, and is covered by a pleated cotton shade in two sizes with different colour options.

Slant by Branch.

Inspired by the power of shapes and how they impact their surroundings, Japanese design team Branch created Slant Lamp with a bold and graphic aesthetic that takes possession of the space it occupies. Comprising a simple, slanted cylindrical form with a weighted base to keep the angle perfectly balanced, all components are concealed within to retain the clean, elemental silhouette.
