Nani Ceras Rug
Description
The Ceras collection, designed by Nani Marquina, arises from the exhaustive study of color through the manual process of tracing with waxes. An intuitive and instinctive process, the search for balance through three colors and something as simple as drawing stripes in repetition. A basic code aimed at perception that combines with each other, with the objects around us, and even with people.
Four sizes of rugs available in four color combinations that harmonize spaces and help us live better. Designs made by hand using the hand loomed kilim technique. A high-density rug, durable and resistant, and at the same time very light.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Nani Marquina
Elena Marquina, known as Nani Marquina, was born in Barcelona in 1952. After studying Industrial Design at the Massana school there, she started to work with the architects Sellés-Marquina in 1973. In 1984, she made her first carpets, and decided to devote herself to design and set up her company, Nanimarquina, two years later. In 1988, some of her creations were already being exported to Germany and Japan. A year later, one of her collections was selected for the shop at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Since 2006 Nani Marquina has been president of the ADP (Professional Designers' Association).
