CULT Highlights - 2023 Sponsorships.

Presented by Houses Magazine, this annual awards program celebrates Australia’s best residential projects. Excellence is rewarded in nine categories, with the best house receiving the premier award of Australian House of the Year, which Cult has proudly supported since 2010. At the 2023 gala, this premier award of Australian House of the Year went to Merricks Farmhouse by Michael Lumby with Nielsen Jenkins.

Presented by Inside magazine, this awards program celebrates the best of Australian interior and product design across 14 categories and six Special Awards. Congratulations Arent & Pyke on winning the highly regarded ‘Designer of the Year’ award at the 21st edition of this awards program. Cult has proudly sponsored this award for over a decade - pictured below right is our General Manager, Jeff Tsang, presenting the accolade to Arent&Pyke founders, Sarah-Jane Pyke and Juliette Arent.

Jury comments: “Possessing a name synonymous with emotional interiors excellency, Arent & Pyke are titans in Australian interior design, delivering an aesthetic that bleeds an undeniably joyful feeling and demonstrates a tight grasp on how psychology influences design.”

The NAWIC NSW Awards for Excellence is an annual celebration of innovation, talent, and dedication of women in the construction industry. CULT has proudly sponsored the event’s live auction for over a decade, which raises funds to support NAWIC’s Executive Women’s Leadership Scholarship.

This year we donated two FRITZ HANSEN Fred Chairs and raised over $20,000 to support this scholarship. The winner is announced each year during a breakfast event at Cult in conjunction with International Women's Day.

CULT Highlights - 2023 Awards & Accolades.

Our in-house sustainability program, Cultivated, won the 2023 award for 'Best Stewardship Outcomes - SME Business' at the Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence Awards.

Judges comments: “Cultivated advocates for longevity and repairability in the furniture circular economy. Their commitment to quality materials and thoughtful design ensures products endure, contributing to a more sustainable and circular approach in the industry.”

This is a major milestone in our effort to bring furniture circularity mainstream - thank you to the judges and to the centre for this honour.
